Johnson Rod lift kits for the Defender 110 and the Defender 90 are premium lift rods designed to lift your Land Rover using the existing air suspension while maintaining the use of the terrain response system. Defender Lift Kit
The Land Rover Defender is known for its great off-road capability. Per Car and Driver, "Its short front and rear overhangs create a notable approach angle (38 degrees), departure angle (40 degrees), and breakover angles of 31 degrees on the two-door Defender 90 and 28 degrees on the four-door 110 model. ..with 11.5 inches of maximum ground clearance, the Defender has a bigger gap between the ground than the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon's 10.8 inches (1)." I love the way the Defender looks with the lift and new wheels / tires (33”). I get compliments on it all the time and when it went in for service last week all the techs came out the check it out.

Yep, working out great. I went with Nitto Ridge Grappler 275/60/20 (non-lt version). No rubbing, but it’s pretty close. Turned out pretty awesome.
The D90 lifted with larger off-road tires is a complete transformation. Here a couple of my favorite builds.
