LR3 AND LR4 LIFT KITS
Johnson Rod lift kits for the LR3 and LR4 are premium lift rods designed to lift your Land Rover using the existing air suspension while maintaining the use of the terrain response system. Our kits are made from 304 stainless steel and military grade rubber which make them the most reliable and dependable lift product available for your LR3 and LR4. We have 3 lift kit sizes to choose from; 1.5 inch, 2.5 inch and the 3.0 front. Our Johnson Rod lift kits will enable you to run larger off-road tires and gain the added ground clearance needed to take on the most challenging trails. Installation can be done in 30 minutes with no special tools required. Ask your Land Rover dealer or independent mechanic to install Johnson Rods.

Note: Starting at 32 inches up, some trimming my be needed to prevent rub. This will depend on the wheel offset, tire width, and tire brand. The LR3 has slightly more room for larger tires than the LR4.

LR3 and LR4 Lift Kit - 1.5 inch
The 1.5 inch lift is known as our Gentlemen's lift. Many of our customers choose this lift because they do not need a larger 2.5 or 3.0 lift. The most common tire size with this lift ranges from 31 inches to 32 inches. The 1.5 inch lift will make the vehicle look better with larger tires and it will perform better off-road with a softer ride than the 2.5 or the 3.0.
Common tire sizes are:
255-60-19
255-65-19
285-50-20 (may get minor rub on the LR4)
265-65-18 (Best with our Compomotive wheel package)

LR3 and LR4 Lift Kit - 2.5 inch
The 2.5 inch LR3 - LR4 lift is the original Johnson Rod lift that created the industry benchmark since 2009. The 2.5 inch lift is the best selling lift as it meets most needs for larger tires and maximum off-road clearance. The most common tire size with this lift ranges from 31 inches to 32 inches or larger with some minor modifications to prevent rub as the tire exceeds 32 inches.
Common tire sizes are:
255-60-19
255-65-19
285-50-20 (some tire brands may have minor rub on the LR4)
275-55-20 (For LR4 minor rub unless with Compo wheels)
265-65-18
275-65-18 (Best with our Compomotive wheel package)
Over 32 inches may require spacers, a lower offset wheel or trimming
Note: The LR3 has slightly more room for larger tires than the LR4.

LR3 and LR4 Lift Kit - 3.0 inch
The 3.0 front lift kit for the LR3 and LR4 combines the 2.5 inch rear lift with a 3 inch front lift. The main reasons for this size kit are to provide the maximum front lift to clear larger tires and to raise the front to improve the stance of the vehicle. The 3.0 lift is a very popular lift for those wanting an aggressive look or to build an off-road project vehicle. Many of our customers will put tires larger than 32 inches by adding spacers and doing some minor cutting/trimming. For anyone wanting 33" tires, this would be the best lift providing you are willing to make some fitment adjustments. Even if you don't go that big, the lift looks great with 31 to 32 inch tires.
